Head into the weekend like the events of the week haven’t left a mark!
This is one of my favorite photos from this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona. In endurance racing there’s a lot of time spent waiting, and sitting on the pit wall watching cars braking for turn one is a great spot to catch your breath and prepare for the next pit stop.
Watching the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring last weekend had me scrolling through my photos from the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The Porsche 963 is such a good looking race car.
I love it when a great magazine shows up in my mailbox and there’s an article I wrote inside! 😁 Thanks again to @sassrob @richardmbaron and the entire @porschepanoramamagazine team for trusting me with this one. And huge thanks to @porschepenskemotorsport for allowing me to hang out in the pits to watch everything unfold.
It’s one of the slowest modern Porsche sports car you can find, and we’ll call the condition of my particular example “medium scruffy” to be kind. But on a nice day with the right twisty roads, it is sublime. What a glorious afternoon in middle Tennessee this was!
Just a taste of the cars at this morning’s Cars and Caffeine and Musik Stadt region PCA meeting at @globalmotorsportsnashville
